History
Bryant Heating & Cooling has been a fixture in American open-wheel racing since 1958, when its name first appeared on an Indianapolis 500 car. By the 1990s, Bryant was backing some of the era's most recognizable Indy cars, including John Andretti's 1994 Byrd's Cafeteria/Bryant Lola and Arie Luyendyk's 1996 Jonathan Byrd's Cafeteria/Bryant Reynard. Luyendyk's Bryant-backed 1996 machine went on to win at Phoenix and set Indianapolis 500 qualifying speed records, making this jacket a great piece of 1990s Indy-car history.
